Teachers’ Day Celebration
September 5, 2025
The school celebrated Teachers’ Day with great reverence on the 5th of September to honour the valuable contributions of teachers, who form the backbone of the education system. The Head Boy, Lavanya Verma, addressed the assembly with a thought-provoking speech. He first and foremost paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, whose birthday is celebrated as Teachers’ Day, and then expressed his gratitude to all the teachers for their constant support and guidance. His speech was followed by a touching poem by Head Girl Jaskirat Kaur, dedicated to the selfless service and dedication of the teachers toward their students’ betterment.
The highlight of the celebration was the speech delivered by Director-Principal Veena Ma’am, wherein she acknowledged the commitment and perseverance of not only the teachers but also the entire staff in nurturing and guiding the students. Moreover, she reminded everyone that our very first teachers are our grandparents and parents, as they shape our values, nurture our curiosity, and guide us with life lessons that no book can fully teach. She asked the students to be respectful to their teachers and to work hard sincerely as a mark of respect for them.
The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the students with a renewed sense of appreciation and admiration for their teachers.
Furthermore, to make the day memorable, students of classes I to V prepared beautiful handmade cards and thank-you notes for their teachers. Some students also presented short poems and thank-you speeches dedicated to their mentors. The atmosphere was filled with love, respect and appreciation.
It was truly a meaningful and inspiring event that helped to strengthen the bond between the students and their teachers.
