MOTHER’S DAY

Mothers are the emotional centre of the family and possess the enchanted power to mend all wounds and beautify all things. Mothers’Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of May, every year to shower all our love and reverence on her. To mark the celebration of the inexplicable bond between the mother and child, we at Springfields Public School held a special assembly where our most revered Director Principal, Mrs. Veena Chopra shared her feelings about Mother in the most inspirational words. She said that Mothers are a priceless gift from God and a perfect amalgamation of love, devotion and sacrifice. We all must make our mothers feel special, respect them and  value them. Mrs. Geetu Saroch poured out her heart in the honour of mothers. She expressed her heart warming feelings towards not only the biological mother but also our motherland Earth, Maa Durga, Maa Saraswati and our very own Ma’am Veena Chopra, a motherly figure to the whole Springfields family. Niranjan of class III and Vivaan of class V recited beautiful poems that filled the air with gratitude, appreciation and acknowledgement. Their expressions exhibited  the feeling “Mother will be our door to Paradise so, let’s love, respect and care for our mother everyday”. It was quite a memorable day and was zealously enjoyed by each and every child.
